Mobile DMV & RibbonCutting Event

JOLIET – State Senator Rachel Ventura’s office will be hosting a Mobile DMV and ICASH event at Cornerstone Services’ McDonough Street office Monday. Representatives from the Illinois Secretary of State’s Office and the Illinois Treasurer’s Office will be on-site to help residents access these state services a little bit closer to home.

"This event provides a convenient way for those receiving services through Cornerstone, and the community in general, to access DMV and iCash offerings,” said Ventura (D-Joliet). This event will also cut down on wait times, makes the Secretary of State's and Treasurer's office more accessible, and celebrates the opening of Cornerstone Services' newest location in Joliet.  I look forward to Cornerstone being able to assist more people in District 43."

The event will be held on Monday, July 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Cornerstone Services’ new facility at 2705 McDonough St. in Joliet. Mobile DMV and ICASH services will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. followed by the ribbon cutting of Cornerstone Services’ new facility at 2 p.m. and an open house of the facility from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

All Mobile DMV appointment slots have been filled, but the Illinois Treasurer’s ICASH team will be available on a walk in basis to help residents search for unclaimed property and money. ICASH is the state’s unclaimed property program, which helps reconnect individuals, families and businesses with forgotten assets such as uncashed checks, dormant bank accounts, insurance proceeds, utility refunds, and other funds being held by the state.
